BRANCH OPINION

Application of the Building Code as it applies to the reconstruction
of a building destroyed by fire:

The reconstruction of the building will constitute new construction in accordance with the Building Code Act.
All requirements of the Building Code will apply to the new construction including all requirements for barrier-free design as specified in Section 3.7.
