Question:
In the case where an access to a bedroom is solely from a mid-landing in a stair would a smoke alarm be required on the mid-landing ceiling AND the upper floor ceiling or would only one smoke alarm suffice?
Answer:
If the ceilings of the floor levels are at the same height, one smoke alarm would suffice.
